Mrs. Correia’s class at WES is corresponding with a local service woman on active duty in Iraq. They have been writing letters and drawing pictures to show their support and thank all of the soldiers for their dedication to our country. Mrs. Correia and her students have also received letters and pictures from the service woman detailing her daily job. What a wonderful job you did on your messages to your special servicewoman. I am very proud of you. Thank you to Mrs.Winsper and Mrs.Correia for helping to make this communication possible. Let us never forget to say thank you to the men and women who serve our country.

I really appreciate everything that you all are doing for us while we are here. We cant even begin to explain how much we love all of the messages. What a wonderful program for both the children and the wonderful servicemen and women. Both Lily and Owen are so happy to be doing this and it has made them think about the sacrifices people like Desy are making for us.

It means so much to her, to me and the rest of her family that you care so much and are thankful for what Desy and the rest of the men and women in Iraq are doing for all of us. Hi guys,
It still amazes me how much support I have from you guys. I appreciate everything you have done for me while I have been here. I dont know what I would have done without all of the support. My tour is almost up and my relief arrived yesterday. So guess what…..I will be home in a matter of days. I cant wait to meet all of you guys. I liked your message. When I meet you, I will have many questions like “What is your favorite sport” or “What is your favorite color” to get to know you better. I hope you had a great time in the Air Force with all your other friends. Everybody in the class is really excited about blogging and sending pictures and letters. Other people might write to you in the class, so be on the lookout and check if we do any more projects for you. Once again, I can’t wait to meet you.
